Hungry Eye Journal’s Editor in Chief, Luke Woodford reviews one of Tenba’s backpack as he travels around Europe

“I’ve been excited about this review for a while. When I met the guys from Tenba, one of the main things they said was how touch and durable this bag was. So of course I thought what better way to properly test it than to take on a 48 hour, 800 mile trip round Europe, in an about of abandoned buildings whilst doing an epic fashion shoot.

“When seeing a bag for the first time I like to take a look and around. I pretty much instantly fell it love with it. The main compartment is in the back and has ample room for all the gear you would expect to fit in a decent backpack. The side pockets are very spacious, even allowing for some tripods to fit neatly inside. I really loved the memory card wallet which fits ten SD cards and its attached to one of the bottom side pockets. It completely puts your mind at ease knowing your valuable cards are safe and sound! Including a lens cleaner was also a very nice touch.
“After taking a good look round the bag and being really impressed, I gave it a good feel. It felt like one of the most robust and tough bags id ever come across. I was getting more and more eager to take it on an adventure by the minute.
55“So the day came, I loaded the gear and off I went. I can genuinely say that I have never had such a comfortable bag on my back. From someone who travels all the time I can’t tell you what a blessing this was. Not only are the straps the most comfortable ever but it just feels so light on your back. The design just feels so well done. Over the 48 hours I took the bag through France into abandoned hospitals, chateaus, churches and swimming pools.
“At one of the locations I came into contact with a It came into contact with barbed wire, lots of glass and copious amounts of pigeon poop. It was one of the most rigorous trips I have done in a very long time and I was astounded by how well the bag help up. Once wiped clean I literally couldn’t see one mark, it was like new.
“All in all I just can’t fault this bag. It just has everything and more. From space to comfort to design. Thank you Tenba for creating this beauty!”
