Renowned brand, Nikon, were also victorious at this year’s EISA Awards, earning themselves an award for European Prosumer DSLR Camera 2016-2017 with the Nikon D500.

This is the third major award the D500 has earned this year, winning the ‘Best APS-C D-SLR Expert’ award at the TIPA (Technical Image Press Association) Awards, and the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2016.

Nikon’s flagship DX-format DSLR camera, the D500, hosts a wide range of key features, and it’s clear to see why this product received such an award. With high-speed, continuous shooting at approximately 10 fps, the D500 is the perfect DSLR camera for action photography. Also with a newly developed DX sensor and an effective pixel count of 20.9 million pixels, Nikon’s winning camera offers users outstanding image quality, especially great for shooting in low light with a maximum standard sensitivity of ISO 51200. Additionally, the D500 incorporates a powerful 153-point auto focus system, providing consumers with precise subject acquisition, specifically with moving subjects. With a bright viewfinder and tilting rear touchscreen display, build quality and easy handling is available, as well as 4K video recording, while Nikon’s new SnapBridge connectivity rounds off an overall impressive DSLR camera, definitely worthy of an EISA Award.
